1. Acceptance of Terms
Downloading or using Pocket Billions (“the App”) means you accept these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you don't agree, please don't use the App.
2. Description of the Service
Pocket Billions is a simulated paper-trading application. Users practice buying and selling actual publicly-traded stocks with virtual money, using live or recent market data. The service exists purely for educational and entertainment purposes — it is not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, exchange, or financial institution. No actual money, securities, or financial instruments are transacted, and your activity in the App has no effect on any real account anywhere.
To support features that run in the background (Automation Mode, Auto-Invest, limit orders), your simulated portfolio state is stored on servers we operate, tied to an anonymous per-installation identity rather than a login — see our Privacy Policy for details on exactly what's stored.
3. Not Financial Advice
Nothing in the App — including stock rankings, risk labels, recommendations, or “Top Picks” — constitutes investment guidance. Simulated performance does not predict actual results. Consult a licensed professional for real financial decisions.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Pocket Billions. Minors should have parental involvement as required by local law.
5. Market Data Disclaimer
Stock pricing is sourced from a third-party provider, Tiingo, Inc. This data may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, or temporarily unavailable. The App is not a real-time trading terminal and should never be used to guide actual investing.
6. Automation Mode and Auto-Invest
These optional features evaluate your configured rules against market data and execute simulated trades automatically when your rules are triggered. This now happens on our servers on a recurring schedule — including while the App is closed — not only while the App is open on your device. Automation Mode's trading logic incorporates real market data plus simulated short-interval price movement, and, like Auto-Invest, is not designed or intended to be profitable; both exist purely to demonstrate rules-based trading.
7. User Responsibilities
You agree to use the App appropriately — not to reverse-engineer it, attempt to interfere with or overload the servers it depends on, violate any applicable law, or misrepresent your simulated results as genuine trading performance.
8. Intellectual Property
The Digital Bubble owns all elements of the App, protected by applicable intellectual property law. You are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the App for its intended purpose only.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We do not guarantee the accuracy of market data, or that the App (including the background servers it depends on) will be uninterrupted or error-free.
10. Limitation of Liability
The Digital Bubble is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR IT.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify The Digital Bubble against claims resulting from your misuse of the App or violation of these Terms.
12. Modifications to the App and These Terms
We reserve the right to modify the App or these Terms at any time. Material changes will update the effective date above; continued use of the App after a change indicates your acceptance of it.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the App's backend services at any time, including removing an anonymous identity's stored data in cases of abuse. You may stop using the App, and delete it, at any time.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Australian law, subject to any local consumer protections that apply to you.
15. Apple App Store Terms
Additional Apple-specific provisions apply, including:
- Apple bears no responsibility for the App or its content.
- Your license to use the App is limited and subject to Apple's standard App Store terms.
- Refunds for any purchases go through Apple only.
- Apple is not liable for any third-party claims relating to the App.
- You confirm you are not located in an embargoed country and are not on any restricted-party list.
- Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them.
